COURAGE

With an everlasting smile I was walking

With an everlasting glow on my face

Swaying, playing, laughing and talking

And dancing around with grace

Never wanting this feeling to leave me

I smiled to myself and took a vow

I thought, my future, I could see

I thought I would never get my spirits low

But what is this, that has come my way?

What has stopped me from moving ahead?

I see nothing, not even a ray

I was sad and many tears I shed

Then I thought to myself, I cant be down

I got up and to everybody proved

I am not going to cry nor am I going to mourn

I geared up all my courage and I moved

I again walked with an everlasting smile

I again had an everlasting glow on my face

I knew I had a long way to go…. more than a mile

So I started off with a fair pace!
